DS5 Bridge 2.0.1 fixes the PS button and mute button, lights the player LED again, and adds a handful of small settings people asked for.
Fixes
- PS button: with a PS chord set up, holding PS no longer flickers it on and off, and a chord no longer also sends a PS press. A quick tap still sends one press, and a long hold now stays held, like on any other controller.
- Mute button: in the default Normal mode, the PC now sees the mute button too, so Steam Input, DS4Windows, Discord and others can use it. It still mutes the controller mic and its light.
- Player LEDs: with Player LEDs turned on, the controller shows player 1 until a game or Steam sets its own pattern, instead of staying dark.
- DualShock 4 mode: gyro timing now matches a real DualShock 4, for more accurate gyro aiming in Steam and SDL games.
- DualSense and DualSense Edge modes: rumble, lightbar and trigger commands from apps that use Windows' less common way of sending them now reach the controller. They were ignored before; DualShock 4 mode already handled them.
- Test Haptics now tells you when the controller's audio device is disabled in Windows Sound settings, and where to turn it back on.
New
- Quit on Close (Settings > System Tray): the window's X button quits DS5 Bridge instead of hiding it to the tray.
- Show Battery chord action: press a chord to see the controller's battery level.
- Battery level in the Controller connected notification.
- Persona switch notification when the bridge finishes switching to another controller type. You can turn it off in Settings > Notifications.
- Optional mic mute notification in Settings > Notifications.
- Version info in Settings > Help & About shows the app and firmware versions.
- More mute keys: Print Screen, Scroll Lock and Pause can now be picked as the Mute button's keyboard key.
Update the companion app and Pico firmware together for the best experience.
Important: Only flash the Waveshare firmware if you have a Waveshare RP2350B-Plus-W board. Standard Pico 2 W users must use the standard firmware build.
