What's Changed
Config panel
- The config panel is no longer shown at all for entries running on the openccu-loom backend. It listed inbox, service and alarm messages, install mode, firmware, signal quality, backup and system information, plus paramsets, direct links, schedules and change history — for the one CCU behind the selected entry. The loom daemon's own Config UI covers every one of those for every CCU it serves, including the radio load and device statistics, which it shows per interface rather than per config entry. Two surfaces claiming the same capability, the visible one narrower, is worse than one; the daemon is the side that owns the state
- The panel is unchanged for entries on the direct-CCU backend. It is registered once for the whole integration, so a mixed installation still has it — its entry picker simply no longer offers the loom entries
- The advanced-settings option "Disable config panel" is gone from the loom flow. It offered a choice that no longer exists there
Devices
- A device page's "Configure" link now opens the openccu-loom Config UI for entries on that backend, at that device's own page, instead of a config panel that is no longer registered for them. Direct-CCU entries keep the panel link
- The address comes from the daemon (
config_ui_url, derived from itsnorth.rest.public_url) rather than being guessed here. The address this integration connects on may be a container or proxy-internal one that no browser can follow; only the operator knows the public one. Without it the link falls back to the connection address, which is right for a LAN-direct install — and when neither is available no link is offered, rather than one that leads nowhere
Dependencies
- Bump
openccu-loom-clientto2026.8.9(pinsopenccu-loom-types==0.3.10,
daemon API 5.14.0). This raises the minimum daemon: openccu-loom 0.57.0 or
newer. The client refuses to connect to a lower API minor rather than
half-initializing against it, so an older daemon fails atconnect()with a
clear message instead of producing bootstrap errors later. It also carries the
daemon'sconfig_ui_urlthrough tocentral.config_ui_url, which is what the
device link below reads. Entries on the direct-CCU backend are unaffected —
the client is only loaded for the loom backend
