Firmware 2.06

2.06 — 2026-11-03

  • ESP32-S31: support for Function-CoreBoard-1 with its built-in ES8311 microphone, CPU speeds up to 320 MHz and optional battery measurement on GPIO42 through an external divider. Recording mode is selectable; SD-card recording is not supported on this board.
  • Audio: optional experimental adaptive noise reduction for Listen, RTSP and SD recordings, alongside High-pass. It defaults Off; saved microphone profiles and audio settings are preserved.
  • Web UI: consistent On/Off controls, clearer settings groups, independent Apply actions and visible voltage calibration. Unsaved edits survive polling and failed saves.
  • Wi-Fi and modes: clearer Home/device Wi-Fi status, separate startup and Recording connection preferences, and smoother transitions between Streaming and standalone Recording.
  • Firmware platform: one shared Arduino-ESP32 4.0.0-RC1 core for all five targets, with PSRAM support and existing OTA upgrade paths retained.
  • Installation and downloads: S31 USB flashing, board-specific OTA files, updated wiring guides and download statistics covering all five boards.
