- Settings: Recording, SD logging, Battery and power settings share draft tracking, polling preservation, discard and scoped saves. Failed saves retain edits; a confirmed save does not discard a newer draft or edits from another group.
- Firmware structure: separate audio capture, RTSP, MQTT, settings storage, OTA and mode control into focused components. Preserve existing settings keys, defaults, audio buffers and upgrade paths.
- Validation and releases: one board registry drives all six build configurations and memory checks. Record source/build hashes and Git revision; publish matching firmware from a verified release snapshot. Reuse checked builds for packaging and avoid recompilation when generated UI is unchanged.
