- Improved BirdNET-Pi UDP/RTSP compatibility: the ESP32 now opens the advertised RTCP port, drains incoming RTCP packets, and includes
source,ssrc, andRTP-Infometadata for ffmpeg-based clients. - Kept the 512-sample default packet buffer for BirdNET-Pi UDP stability.
- Sample rate validation accepts up to 192000 Hz in the Web UI and API.
- Audio settings now persist only after the I2S pipeline restarts successfully.
- Regenerated web flasher and manual OTA artifacts for this updated 1.9.3 build.
Validation
- Built with
arduino-cli compile --fqbn esp32:esp32:XIAO_ESP32C6. - OTA-tested on the local ESP32 device.
- Clean Nachtzuster/BirdNET-Pi host install tested with
rtsp://192.168.1.80:8554/audio2in BirdNET-Pi/UDP mode. - ffmpeg produced full 15-second WAV files over UDP, and BirdNET-Pi analysis read
5 chunksper segment.
