VibeServer 5.6.13 for macOS — signed and notarised. Also on apt for Debian/Ubuntu (arm64 and amd64).

- SDRplay in DAB. Entering DAB changes the sample rate, and that in-place update left the tuner's IF AGC silent: the readout echoed 59 dB, the real reduction drifted, and the RF loop walked the LNA to its end stop on the echo. The stream is now torn down and re-initialised after every rate change (the notches re-asserted after it), an LNA write never copies a stale reduction back into the tuner, a silent AGC with the level over target is restarted in place, and the RF loop waits six seconds after any AGC restart, does not treat a rail as a frozen readout, and steps at its normal floor when the ADC peak confirms the direction. Measured: 43 dB of IF reduction inside the window on 9A.
- SDRplay start-up. The six-step kick restarts from step 1 on every re-acquire (it was spread over three keepalive holds), hands over from a fresh gain memory or from position 1, and the RF loop waits for the coarse placement before stepping. The start and end of the start-up are announced in the VTS bar.
- Modes and decoders switched off in setup now reach the radio — the list was saved and never copied to the worker.
- The browser's RF gain slider follows the band's state count.
- The gain story is in one place. The starting gain slider sits above VibeAGC with "Lock this gain?" beside it: locked, it is THE gain on every band and VibeAGC is unavailable; unlocked, it is where VibeAGC begins. The Radio card's tuner-gain select and its two paragraphs about where gain is not set are gone.
- VibeAGC obeys the per-band ceilings. Its ceiling was always the tuner's top, so a capped band was capped for a manual listener and not for the loop. Tuning into a capped band brings the gain down to the ceiling and the AGC cannot raise it past that figure.
- The locked-window raw IQ streams dropdown now appears (it was hidden by a stale class).
- SDRplay start-up no longer ends at minimum RF gain. The RF loop could step one second after arming, before the coarse placement had run, and the placement then found the IF "inside the window" with nothing to do. The loop now waits for the placement; measured twice on an RSP1A: start-up ends at RF 3/6, IF 49–50 dB instead of 0/6, IF 40. Every RF-loop gate also resets at the kick's handover itself.
- The desktop setup page shows the listing address under "List this server publicly" once the directory answers, as the phone always has.
- The directory shows what each receiver offers. Every radio now publishes its raw IQ mode, whether Advanced RDS is on offer, and the list of modes and decoders the owner has enabled. The directory at vibeserver.vibesdr.net draws an IQ48 mark on radios with public raw IQ, an upright ADVANCED / RDS mark beside the DAB+ one, and a MODES tag whose tooltip lists the demodulators and decoders; the collapsed server row carries the union. A MODES & DECODERS chip bar under the dial filters the list, and one radio must cover the bands and offer the modes asked for.
- A radio card on the directory opens that receiver. The tap goes through the front door to
/r/<id>/?join=1, the door's own route. If the radio has been taken since the directory last looked, the receiver sends the visitor back to the door with " is now in use — it was free when the directory last checked" above the cards. - Raw IQ out is shaped by the radio's mode. A one-listener radio: a tick, and "Local network up to" chosen from the radio's own rates up to 2.4 MHz (an RTL offers 1.024 / 2.048 / 2.4, an SDRplay 2 MHz; a radio with nothing that low simply states 250 kHz). A locked window: how many streams at once, out of the listener slots, at 250 kHz each. A shared dial: not offered, and the page says why. The tunnel is always 48 kHz. The full span is offered only while the capture rate is within the ceiling — no resampling.
- Automatic Direct Sampling is drawn only on an RTL. It was offered on an SDRplay, where it means nothing.
- The owner's "Adv RDS" switch now also holds for the app's analyser request, as it did for the web client's.
