macOS server 4.1.56. Notarised and stapled.
Simple mode's "List on VibeSDR.net" switch had four faults, and they compounded.
It accepted a press it could not honour. A public listing needs a radio attached, a name, and an admin password — none was checked, so the switch moved and nothing happened. It is now unavailable until all three hold, and it says which one is missing, in the order you would fix them. A listing with no receiver behind it publishes a map pin that turns every visitor away.
Switching it on did not start the server. The listing code returned early when the server was stopped, so the switch stored a preference, published nothing, and sat in the ON position over a receiver that was not running. Nobody asks to be listed publicly and not to be serving, so it now starts the server too. Turning it off still leaves the server running, as it always did.
It showed raw JSON. The status line printed the directory's internal blob, braces and all. It now shows the thing you actually need — "Anyone can listen at …" with your shareable address, selectable — and any error in red rather than buried.
The public name and the admin password go red only while they are the thing standing in the way, not merely for being empty. A receiver that will never go public needs neither.
Full mode is unchanged: it is configured from the browser setup page, which cannot be opened until the server is running with an admin password, so it already enforced the same rule.
Also in this build: the decoder box header advertises its own scrolling, the setup page can pick a converter by name (Ham It Up, SpyVerter, Ku LNB) instead of asking you to know its LO, and the adjacent-channel narrowing releases correctly — it read the shadow measurement's sign backwards once narrowed, so a station that would gain 11 dB by going wide stayed narrow indefinitely.
