The lock is per band now. 4.1.47 shipped it as one switch for the whole receiver, which could not say the thing owners actually want: hold FM at a fixed gain while HF stays adjustable under a ceiling. Each band answers for itself, and the list says which — a locked band reads RF 7 · IF 25 🔒, an unlocked one up to RF 7 · IF 20. Lock All bands and the whole radio is fixed; that was always just another band.
A per-band ceiling set from the phone was ten times too tight. The setup page stores fm:250; the app stores what it shows you, fm:25.0dB, and the parser stopped at the 5 — so a 25 dB ceiling was really 2.5 dB. It looked like it worked, because a number went in and a ceiling came out. Fixed in the parser, so a hand-edited vibeserver.conf reads the same way. A bare number keeps its exact meaning: existing configs are untouched.
Android gets the per-band lock and, on a HackRF, the LNA/VGA split a fixed band needs — a total is enough to limit with and not enough to set with. Choosing a capture width there now really does pin it, which is what that screen has always claimed.
