The experimental HackRF One driver now works on the Mac server as well as Linux.
Nobody on the VibeSDR side owns a HackRF, so this driver is still experimental and still not advertised — it has been written from the documentation and tested by exactly one listener, on Linux. The Mac build runs the identical driver code; there are no platform differences in it at all.
Everything the driver does is unchanged from 4.1.27: three manual gain stages (RF amp, LNA, baseband VGA), no automatic gain of any kind, a total-gain ceiling the owner can set, offset tuning plus a DC notch, and the RF amp and bias-T kept owner-only. Every stage still opens at zero with the amp off, and no saved preference is ever restored into the amp or the bias-T.
libhackrf is linked statically, so there is nothing extra to install.
