Waterfall panning & the VFO Lock
- Panning is back, opt-in. A new VFO Lock toggle in the menu. Locked is the default and behaves exactly as before (VFO pinned to centre). Unlock it and drag the waterfall to pan the band while staying tuned — the needle can sit off-centre or off-screen.
- Floating CENTRE ON VFO button to snap back when the VFO is off-screen (doesn't re-lock).
- Gestures are now tap = tune, drag = pan, pinch = zoom (vertical drag-to-zoom removed). Panning runs on the UI thread, so it stays smooth even on a laggy connection.
Second VFO for the RF (dongle) centre — Local Hardware / RTL-TCP
- The dongle centre is now a true second VFO (dashed RF-CENTRE marker with its own readout).
- With the VFO unlocked you can pan the view across the whole captured bandwidth at full resolution while a station stays tuned. The dongle follows your pan, then locks at the capture edge while the view scrolls on — the RF-CENTRE marker sliding off to the side — up to hard walls at the capture-band edges.
- Pan limits track the actual bandwidth mode the device reports (250 kHz / 1 MHz / 2.4 MHz…), keeping the tuned station clear of the rolloff.
Saved Recordings player
- New Recordings screen (from the menu): play back in-app with a scrub bar, share, or delete your recordings — no more recordings stranded in storage. Recordings are now kept in the app on both platforms.
