VibeServer Lite 5.6.76 — turn an old Android phone, tablet or TV box with a USB SDR (and an OTG cable) into a VibeServer that anyone can listen to in a browser or the VibeSDR app.
This is exactly the build now running Stuart's own Sony Bravia TV server. It is a prerelease: tested on that TV, not yet on a wide range of devices. It installs over 5.6.75 as an update (same signing key) and keeps your settings.
New in 5.6.76
- The new GPU maps, served by your server itself (no internet needed for them): the admin page's visitor map and the digital spots map, with the shaded-relief landmass and the day/night shadow on the spots map.
- High Detail Maps from the admin page — an optional one-time ~169 MB download for close-in detail, and a Remove button.
- An Airspy R2/Mini is now identified as an Airspy everywhere (it was sometimes reported as an RTL-SDR, which could offer the wrong controls).

- SDRplay RSPs are not supported on Android — SDRplay's API does not exist for it (they work on the Linux VibeServer).
Requirements
- Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or newer. Android 4.4 will refuse to install it.
- 32-bit or 64-bit ARM (armeabi-v7a).
- A supported SDR and a USB OTG adapter/cable. The device must support USB host mode.
- Designed for about 1 GB of RAM.
Installing
- Download
VibeServer-Lite-5.6.76.apkbelow onto the device. - Allow installs from your browser or file manager when Android asks ("Install unknown apps").
- Open it, plug in the SDR, and follow the setup. The first-run benchmark measures what this device can carry — how many listeners, and which modes.
