VibeServer Lite 11.0.8 — VibeServer for Android TV boxes, old phones and tablets (Android 5+). Everything from 11.0.7 plus:
- A server can no longer be stopped from starting by its own bookmark list. A station name with a stray backslash or quote in it — easily picked up from a weak RDS signal — doubled in size every time the list was saved, until one server's list reached 134 MB and took longer to load than anyone would wait. Names now load back exactly as saved, the list loads in one pass, and it has a size it cannot pass: at most 1,000 stations learned from RDS and DAB (the longest unheard go first) and 21,000 in all. Bookmarks you saved yourself are never removed. A list that is already oversized is set aside, not deleted.
- MPX power in Advanced RDS reads in dBr, as MPX meters show it: it is relative to the broadcast limit (BS.412), so 0 is the limit and a figure below it is within it — not a fault.
- Web page, game controllers: the sticks tune like a drum. A slow, careful turn moves one step at a time so you stop on the signal; a fast spin covers the band quickly.
VibeServer Lite 11.0.7 — VibeServer for Android TV boxes, old phones and tablets (Android 5+). Everything from 11.0.6 plus, in the browser:
- Web page, game controllers: the decoder box works the way it does in the app. Move the highlight onto the box and press enter: it takes the D-pad — up and down through the DAB stations or the decoder's text, left and right to its buttons, enter to pick — and back hands the controls back to the radio. On DAB the box takes the D-pad by itself, since the station list is how you tune.
- The server admin panel works with a controller, and back closes it.
VibeServer Lite 11.0.6 — VibeServer for Android TV boxes, old phones and tablets (Android 5+). Everything from 11.0.5 plus:
- A radio another program is using now says so. If another app on the device has the radio, the directory, the apps and the web page show that radio as "in use by another app" instead of a radio that looked free and then never started; the setup page tells you which radio it is, and VibeServer picks it up again by itself when the other app lets go.
- In the browser: game controllers reach the frequency box, mode and signal reading, and holding START (about a second) switches the controller layout.
