VibeServer Lite 11 RC15 — the server only, for Android TV boxes, old phones and tablets (Android 5.0+, ARM).
Installs over earlier Lite builds and keeps your settings.
Since RC14
- A server set to start in DAB now starts in DAB when the app is the first to arrive.
- Exit DAB always leaves DAB (no report from the server can reopen it).
- A new chat phrase: "Tuning back — I was listening to that".
- No abrupt stop while shutting down or restarting with an RTL dongle.
Since RC13 (RC14)
- Every decoder rebuilt and measured on real off-air recordings: WEFAX (per-chart slant, DDK's border and long tone),
NAVTEX (a new fldigi-based receiver), time signals (lightning, weak minutes, leap seconds, WWV/WWVH, DUT1), RTTY
(follows a drifting station), SSTV (PD-50/90, Robot 72, lost announcements) and FT8 (more decodes, extra passes
only when the box has time to spare). - A server set to start in DAB now does.
- Bursts of tuning are paced when the box is busy.
- An Airspy HF+, Airspy R2/Mini, HackRF or RTL dongle that hangs or is unplugged recovers by itself when it comes back,
or says it needs unplugging and plugging back in. - The admin page counts every CPU core, not just the ones awake.
- "Power down the radio" now says what it really does: the server stops processing the radio after five minutes with
nobody connected; the radio itself stays plugged in and powered.
