VibeServer Lite 11 B1 (11.0.0~b1) — the first beta of V11. Turn an old Android phone, tablet or TV box with a USB SDR (and an OTG cable) into a VibeServer that anyone can listen to in a browser or the VibeSDR app.
This is exactly the build now running Stuart's own Sony Bravia TV server. It installs over 5.6.78 as an update (same signing key) and keeps your settings. Further fixes before release will be B2, B3…
New in 11 B1
- V11 everywhere — VibeServer, VibeServer Lite, the apps and the Mac server share one major version. Older apps still get the core experience or a clear message.
- Airspy R2 / Mini per-band gain limits — in the setup's per-band ceilings, choose the gain mode (Linearity or Sensitivity), then a position 0–21, then Limit (listeners may go up to it) or Lock (the gain sits there). Listeners in that band see only that slider; other bands and other radios keep every control.
- IF filter is the owner's on a shared tuner — a listener can no longer reset it for everyone; the server now publishes its IF widths so every client offers the same list.
- Crash isolation — a malformed message costs that one message; the web client's spectrum can no longer stop for good on a single error, and a truncated audio frame can no longer crash the host.
- The spots map keeps every station (no 500-report cap), and the web client has an ABOUT section with full credits.

- SDRplay RSPs are not supported on Android — SDRplay's API does not exist for it (they work on the Linux VibeServer).
Requirements
- Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or newer.
- 32-bit or 64-bit ARM (armeabi-v7a).
- A supported SDR and a USB OTG adapter/cable. The device must support USB host mode.
- Designed for about 1 GB of RAM.
Installing
- Download
VibeServer-Lite-11.0.0-b1.apkbelow onto the device. - Allow installs from your browser or file manager when Android asks ("Install unknown apps").
- Open it, plug in the SDR, and follow the setup.
