VibeSDR for Android now lives at net.vibesdr.app only.
- VibeSDR-11.0.4-581.apk — the app. All updates come here.
- VibeSDR-legacy-11.0-RC5-531.apk — the final build of the old app (
com.vibesdr.app), kept here so you can
still get your bookmarks out: its VibeSDR has a new home notice has an EXPORT MY BOOKMARKS button; in the new
app open the frequency card → BOOKMARKS → IMPORT. Then uninstall "VibeSDR (legacy)" — with both installed, Android
has to choose which app gets a plugged-in SDR.
VibeSDR 11.0.4 — everything from 11.0.3 plus:
- Shared servers: your own tuning no longer pops up as "User 4 tuned to…". Only somebody else's tune is announced, as "Another user has tuned to…". The chat keeps its user numbers.
- Typing a frequency or picking a bookmark below the broadcast bands sets the right mode and step. VLF and LF up to 148.5 kHz: CW, 500 Hz steps (it was getting medium wave's AM and 9 kHz). Long wave: AM, 9 kHz (10 kHz in the Americas). Between long and medium wave, where NAVTEX and the beacons are: USB, 500 Hz.
- FM de-emphasis and stereo show what the server is actually running. Setting 75 µs on one server no longer makes the menu claim 75 µs on the next one while it plays at 50.
