VibeSDR for Android now lives at net.vibesdr.app only.
- VibeSDR-11.0.3-580.apk — the app. All updates come here.
- VibeSDR-legacy-11.0-RC5-531.apk — the final build of the old app (
com.vibesdr.app), kept here so you can
still get your bookmarks out: its VibeSDR has a new home notice has an EXPORT MY BOOKMARKS button; in the new
app open the frequency card → BOOKMARKS → IMPORT. Then uninstall "VibeSDR (legacy)" — with both installed, Android
has to choose which app gets a plugged-in SDR.
VibeSDR 11.0.3 — everything from 11.0.2 plus:
- OpenWebRX servers that use their own HTTPS on port 8073 connect again. Fixes #52. The app keeps a server's address exactly as given (scheme and port together), checks https first when none is typed, saved servers remember their full address and repair themselves, and a connection that fails now says why instead of "stopped responding".
- The waterfall draws again on older 32-bit phones running Android 7, 8 or 9 (a Moto G6 showed a blank waterfall while the radio played).
- Hosting a VibeServer on Android: no more crash loops after an update or crash — a background restart Android refuses becomes a notice (open VibeSDR and press Start). Set App battery usage → Unrestricted to let it come back by itself.
- SDRplay on a VibeServer no longer runs its RF gain up to maximum when the radio's own gain reading freezes.
- Advanced RDS: the left/right deviation meters read true on weak stations, and healthy readings are green.
- Android: a PIN box for VibeServers, and a wrong PIN asks again.
- Portrait layout from user feedback on an iPhone 12, and the Nixie display redrawn from a 4K HDR slow-motion recording of real IN-14 tubes.
- RDS station names that scroll read cleanly, and Diagnostics shows what went wrong if the app crashes.
