V11 Beta 10 — a test build. It replaces Beta 9.
New
- Share a station in chat. A new "📻 Share a station…" phrase sends one of your bookmarks, or what you're playing, DAB included. Your own label never leaves your device: the server names the station itself, from RDS, its own bookmarks, EiBi or the DAB service list. Listeners get a TUNE button, which on a busy shared dial asks first.
- Backlit keys. Every front-panel key glows softly from its panel gap, and pressing one floods its edge with light. The radio and zoom icons look laser-etched. The rings round the key groups are gone.
- Borrowed time. When your turn on a shared receiver ends, you can come back after the short cooldown. If nobody else wants the receiver, it's yours until somebody does. Come back after 15 minutes away and you start a full new session.
- The map renderer and the admin panel download once for every VibeServer (Chrome, Edge, Firefox). Every copy is fingerprint-checked before it runs.
Fixed
- Audio drops while the server's admin page was open (Pi 2-class hosts): the admin page could stall the radio's DSP thread. The worst wait went from 1.15 s to 0.06 ms.
- Map zooming could stutter the audio. Map data now goes out at the lowest priority, paced, while anyone is listening.
- Canned chat:
- Phrases tapped the wrong message, and ghost squares sat behind them.
- Half the phrases were off the bottom of the screen.

- TIME UP promised a retry the server then refused. The card now gives the real figures.
- Country flags missing for Europe and Asia on Android 5–7 hosts. Modern root certificates are now bundled, and checks stay fully on.
- FT8 spots:

- Signal reports were being treated as grid squares.

- RTL-SDR: after every tune, the server reads the tuner chip back to confirm it really locked where the dial says.
