Serve and listen on the same phone. Running a server no longer means you cannot use the radio yourself. The server screen offers three ways out — stop and return to the settings, stop and return to the server list, or return to the list and leave the server running. While it runs, "Use as server" turns green and reads "Currently serving", so you cannot wander off and forget the phone is on air; tapping it goes straight back to the running server.
Listening to your own server goes over the phone's internal loopback rather than out to your router and back, so it costs nothing on the network and survives the Wi-Fi dropping. Measured on a mid-range handset: serving alone used 82% of one core of eight, serving and listening to itself 277%, with no dropped samples either way.
If your server is single-user or full you are warned before connecting, because that disconnects whoever is listening. As the owner you get the hardware controls unlocked automatically.
The bookmark search stays put. Searching a broadcaster on shortwave returns many frequencies — Voice of Korea comes back with twelve — and most are inaudible from any given place at any given hour, so you work down the list. Tuning one used to clear the search, so every next attempt began with retyping it. The list now survives for 90 seconds, and the clock restarts each time you come back.
The browser client's search results are usable again. On the frequency card the list was cut off against the top of the card, and trying to scroll to the rows above made it snap shut — the list floated out of a panel that clips its contents, and touching it took focus off the search box, which is what closed it. The results now sit below the box and the card scrolls to show them. The frequency box also follows the radio after you tune from the list, instead of still showing where you were. Broad searches return the same number of matches the app does, rather than stopping at 40.
