Pre-release. VibeSDR 10.5 is still in testing and has not been released on Google Play. This APK is here for testers and for anyone who wants to sideload it.
What is new since the last Android build:
HackRF One support, still experimental and still unadvertised — nobody on the VibeSDR side owns one, so the driver is written from the documentation and tested by a single listener. The phone can now act as a server for a HackRF as well as an RTL-SDR, and the app can drive one on any VibeServer: three manual gain stages (RF amp, LNA, baseband VGA), with the amp and bias-T kept owner-only. There is no AGC control for this radio because it has none.
The owner's gain limit now reaches the app. The server has always enforced it, but the app was ignoring the ceiling it sends — so a gain slider could run to the hardware maximum while the server quietly clamped it, and the readout claimed gain the radio never had. That affected RTL-SDR dongles too, not only the HackRF.
A notice when a receiver is at minimum gain. A radio with the gain right down looks exactly like a broken one — flat waterfall, nothing on it. Connecting to such a receiver now says so once, near the tuning controls, and gets out of the way. Minimum gain is sometimes correct, so it never becomes a standing warning.
