KillerPDF v1.8.1

1.8.1 fixes urgent 1.8 regressions and adds several focused page-management improvements.

Added

  • The Pages panel now supports Ctrl+A to select every page and Delete to remove the selected pages (#289, #296).
  • OCR now recognizes every selected page and copies the combined text (#297).
  • Russian is now available for the complete interface and downloadable OCR support (#293, thanks 1mk3r).
  • The outline sidebar can now expand or collapse every bookmark branch at once.

Fixed

  • Completed the interface translations for all 15 supported languages (#286, #295).
  • Document scrolling now follows the line count configured in Windows Mouse Properties (#301).
  • Clicking or dragging the title-bar logo no longer crashes because of an invalid Windows entry point (#298).
  • Damaged-file repair prompts now use the active interface language (#299).
  • Tagged PDFs can now be added after untagged pages or other imported documents (#300).
  • Transform now removes superseded page-image data so grayscale, black-and-white, DPI, and JPEG settings reduce the saved file size (#287).
  • Transform now shows page-by-page progress during batch processing, and its 98SE quality controls no longer touch the scrollbar (#290, #291).
  • The fillable text field tool is now localizable and supports selecting, moving, resizing, recoloring, and deleting fields (#295).
  • Turning off two-sided printing now explicitly overrides printer-driver duplex defaults (#284).
  • Measurement rulers and readouts now remain legible at fitted and multi-page zoom levels.
  • Setup now closes legacy installations safely before upgrading, keeps installer failures inside themed notices, and repairs duplicate installation scopes without removing settings or PDF files (#285).
  • The Help and How To page now explains every 1.8 tool and workflow, including PDF comparison, measurement, touch navigation, letter spacing, Transform batches and output controls, form-aware OCR, token signing, page transfer, packaging, all fifteen OCR languages, and The KillerPDF.Engine.
