Known Issues
Valve broke modals and the lockscreen on SteamOS preview really well so if you have to manually type in your pin/password lockscreen on preview, that's Valve. On modals, if you get a unfocused screen with what looks like an error log in the background, restart the Steam client. This should clear the issue up. We know it's not ideal but we can't really patch it ourselves.
On our side, if you open the QAM right after you turn on/unsleep your deck and don't see the Decky icon, reopen the QAM a second or third time and you should now see the aforementioned icon. Since this is purely a visual/QoL issue it's of a lower priority. We're looking into it but it doesn't harm much we just wanted everyone to be aware of this.
If you use Animation Changer, please re-run the installer (pre-release or release) script to update your systemd service. This fixes some timing related issues and will be done automatically with future updates. Since the previous version doesn't update your systemd service, this one needs to be in the wild for a while so people can get the updater logic and receive updated service files with the next big update. 👍🏻
