StartWRT 1.2.0 lets you set the Wi-Fi regulatory country, so the router uses the channels and transmit power permitted where you live.

Points of Entry > Wi-Fi > Settingsgains a Country selector. Until you pick one, the router runs on a conservative worldwide subset — 2.4 GHz channels 1–11 and 5 GHz channels 36–48 at 20 dBm — so select your country after updating to unlock the rest of the 5 GHz band and full transmit power. The channel dropdowns now list only the channels the selected country permits. Automatic channel selection avoids radar-detection (DFS) channels; pick one by hand if you want it, and expect the 5 GHz network to take a minute or more to appear each time the router starts. - A published domain typed without
https://now reaches the published service. While port 443 is published to a device, as a StartOS server does for its public domains, plain HTTP at the router's public address is answered with a redirect tohttps://instead of the router's web interface, from inside your network and from the Internet under every Remote Access setting.
