v1.76.7 (2026-10-18)
Release Highlights
- Stop dropping SMART uploads when SQLite is busy, and name the installable app Scrutiny (#994) - Fixes #990, Fixes #995
- SQLite transactions start with BEGIN IMMEDIATE, so a read-then-write transaction waits for a concurrent writer instead of failing with database is locked. Before this, a collector run that overlapped the filesystem or btrfs collector could lose one or more drives' SMART data for that cycle, and a recently added drive with no history showed an empty detail page (#992).
- Installing Scrutiny as a browser app offers it as "Scrutiny". The web manifest still carried the Angular scaffold's "name": "App" (#993).
- A failed SMART history or device summary query returns an error instead of an empty result. Both read paths logged the Flux stream error and returned success, so a query failure was indistinguishable from a device that never reported: the detail page showed "0 visible, 0 hidden" attributes and the dashboard showed every drive with no SMART data (#996).
