v1.2.0 - Game Detection Update

latest releases: v6.11.0, v6.10.0, v6.9.1...

Warning, this release is kinda packed...

Changes

  • Add game detection (RPC)
    • rsRPC, the Rust-based Discord RPC server I've been working on (based on alot of the work from arRPC), has gotten to the point where game detection is consistent and working!
    • You can enable it in "Performance & Extras", remember to also enable the "arRPC" plugin!
    • If you would still prefer to run an external version or something, you can take a look at rsRPC repository
    • You may notice it to be a little slow detecting games, or when you close a game. This is a performance choice, and if people find it annoying/too slow, feel free to submit an issue I will add a configuration option for it!
  • Add opening on startup
    • You can now set Dorion to start on startup!
    • You can also have it open in the background on startup
  • Add CLI arguments
    • --safemode: Disables all injection into Discord. This is basically just for emergencies
    • --disable-plugins: Disables all Vencord plugins. This is for if some plugin is causing you to be unable to load Discord properly. You will need to manually re-enable all plugins, but all of your settings are still saved.
  • Change plugins/, themes/ and config.json locations in Linux and MacOS
    • You can now find them in ~/.config/dorion
    • Your Dorion settings, plugins and themes are NOT migrated (your Vencord settings are fine as they are stored within the browser instance), but they are also not deleted, so you will have to move them manually. Sorry!
  • Make MacOS injection more consistent (again)
  • Stop .DS_Store and cache from showing up in the themes dropdown
