Hi all! There are a couple issues with this build but wanted to get it out as it has a lot of new features and I'm almost out of weekly Claude usage. :)

Change notes:

  • There is now a launcher included and new configuration options.
  • Widescreen 16:9 resolutions should display properly now, and there is an option to uncap FPS. Ultrawide will probably have culling/FOV issues still, will try to fix soon.
  • You can now progress to the end of the intro and grey children will spawn, they are animated as well. The game crashes if they attack or grab you.
  • More maps should load now, and enemies may even spawn.
  • Camera at the ending alley sequence is almost like the original game now. You still have to toggle the thirdperson camera (numpad 2) to get through some of it.
  • Huge performance increase from removed logging.

Issues:

  • There is a slight culling that was reintroduced in 4:3 when 16:9 was fixed. Also I believe 4:3 or certain resolutions make effects like snow larger. Fixing 4:3 issues will be a priority as that is the original aspect ratio.
