Rollup of the 0.3.x–0.4.x line since v0.2.8.
Review & people
- Unknown faces that resemble an enrolled person are grouped into one "Looks like " card with a single ASSIGN ALL, dropdowns pre-selected to the suggestion, and a per-face ✗ "not this person" to pull one out.
- Favorites (★) and a sorted, jump-to person list; person pickers grouped into Favorites / Others.
Settings tab
- Live-editable matching thresholds (recognition, unknown, suggestion, cluster, ignore) and an adjustable photo limit per person. Stored in
data/settings.json, overrides config / app options, persists across restarts and updates.
Backup
- One-click backup & restore of your gallery (persons + ignore anchors), plus an optional built-in daily auto-backup — no external cron needed. A host-cron / HA-automation alternative is documented too.
Healthier training
- Per-person photo cap keeps galleries diverse: the most redundant photo is set aside (unusual angles kept), shown transparently on the person card and restorable. Full write-up in docs/trimming.md.
Robustness
- Self-healing of legacy filename collisions, tab-switch render-race fix, and the Recognitions tab removed.
HA app users are offered this automatically (Settings → Apps → FaceID → Update). Standalone: git pull && systemctl restart faceid. Full details in CHANGELOG.md.
