Skardyy/mcat v0.6.8

on GitHub

Changelog

• improved image/video encoder logic, now splitted kitty features to do different things according to the depth of support to the kitty protocol rather then just supported binary
• improved tmux support
• imporved the image encoder selection to prefer iterm or sixel over kitty when in tmux and the terminal doesn't support kitty unicode placeholder ext, works better
• added kitty animation support for when the terminal supports kitty but not the animation ext
• added kitty animation support for macos and bsd too, previously was just locked to linux, still only works on kitty terminal
• fixed an issue where video from url/stdin won't be looped
• fixed kitty animation failing on wrong shm name
• fixed an issue where images in markdown won't appear in tmux
