Home stops looking like a generic feed: each shelf now takes the shape of what it holds. There is also a .deb package for Debian and Ubuntu.
New features
- Debian and Ubuntu package: releases now ship a
.debnext to the AppImage and the rpm.
Improvements
- Home shelves pick their layout from what is in them. Songs become numbered rows, twelve readable tracks per screenful instead of six anonymous covers; artists get tall poster cards with the name on the photograph; playlists show their cover with the stack behind it.
- Every section on home now shares one header, mood chips are outlined until you pick one, and community picks fit four to a row.
- Hovering home is smoother: cards no longer carry a resting shadow that WebKit had to re-blur on every repaint.
Bug fixes
- Edit home listed only the sections you had scrolled to, so the same window showed about five rows on a cold visit and fifteen on a warm one. It now lists every section home has ever shown you, and you can hide or move one before the page has fetched it.
- A long song or artist name in a community row widened the row instead of being cut short with an ellipsis.
New contributors
- @oguzkarayemis: added the .deb package build.
Only the AppImage self-updates on Linux. The rpm and the deb are normal packages, so update those by downloading the new one.
