From You, 2000 Years Ago
The third Senpwai 3 beta remembers your downloads, gives you more control over tracked anime, and lets you tune your browsing experience.
Pick up where you left off: Your download queue, paused items, and torrent seeding progress survive restarts. Transfers resume when safe recovery is supported, otherwise they restart with an explanation.
Track it your way: Set a source, resolution, audio language, and folder for each tracked anime. Source choices are checked before being locked in, and tracking controls fit better on mobile.
Make browsing yours: Hide ratings or synopses, toggle genres and native titles, use compact cards, pause banner rotation, and reduce animations. ✨
Your preferences matter: Choose whether downloads can fall back to another audio language or resolution when your selection is unavailable.
Before you go: Choose whether Senpwai asks before quitting while downloads or seeding are active.
Torrent networking: Fixed proxy settings and added an option to bind torrent traffic to a chosen VPN interface.
Source fixes: Corrected AnimePahe sequel numbering, improved AnimeHeaven file checks and connection retries, and tightened Nyaa title matching. AnimeHeaven now skips raw episodes without breaking the episode list.
Better bug reports: Improved saved logs and copied error reports to make troubleshooting easier.
For the early birds: Nightly builds now have their own release channel, with clearer beta and nightly choices on the download page.
Download recovery applies to downloads created after installing this update. Some interrupted downloads may need fresh source access or a restart.
This is still a beta, so expect and report bugs. Windows installers are unsigned and the macOS app is ad hoc signed; your system may ask you to approve the first launch.
