A Devices page that shows the fleet at a glance, and Credential Profiles

New

  • Device cards are an overview now. Each one shows a 24-hour connectivity bar (green up, red
down, grey where MikroDash was not watching) with an uptime figure, the last backup and whether
it failed, open alerts, and an Update marker when newer RouterOS is out. The list view gains
the same columns. Thanks to @ToniRos for the ideas in #145.
  • Click a device for its own overview. Connectivity over 24 hours, 7 or 30 days with every
outage listed, live WAN traffic, CPU, RAM, disk and temperature, its ports, a Clients list
from active DHCP leases and its recent alerts. It opens from a card, a list row or the map, and
never changes the device you have selected.
  • Credential Profiles (Config Management -> Credentials). Define a username and password once
and link it to devices or whole sites; MikroDash creates and keeps the account on each one, and
shows per device whether it applied. A default profile can be picked in the zero-touch wizard.
    Thanks to @eltionb for #143.
  • Auto Switch to API-SSL in a device's edit dialog: certificates, the service and the
    connection, in one confirmed step.
  • The device picker groups by site, with site chips and a search that finds sites too.
    Thanks to @eltionb for #144.

Changed

  • Opening the Devices page no longer adds any load on your routers. The live readings moved into
the device overview, which reads only the one device it shows, only while it is open.
  • Connectivity is recorded for every enabled device, whether or not Reporting is on.
  • The Ping card's chart fills its card, and one latency spike no longer flattens the rest.
  • Zero-touch provisioning uses API-SSL when the router already offers it.
  • The "No devices are waiting" line is gone from the Devices page.

Fixed

  • The arm/v7 image crashed on the first command it sent to a router on 32-bit ARM. Fixed by
    @TastyHeadphones (#147), reported by @mvdteam (#146).
  • A disabled DHCP lease could still name a host on the dashboard, and could hide the active lease
for the same address. Thanks to @ToniRos for #139.
  • Adding a RouterOS user with the password box left empty created an account with no password.
  • Copy buttons did nothing when MikroDash was opened on its LAN address.
  • Restarting MikroDash was recorded as an outage on every device.

Internal

  • Schema v31 to v34: Credential Profiles (v31-v33) and a record of when each device was being watched (v34).
  • The background overview pool is gone; every enabled device keeps one connection.
