A new install can connect its first router

Fixed

  • A clean install could not connect its first router. The setup wizard saved the device and
then reported "could not read the settings". The router really was saved, which made it look
like it had half worked — the failure was the step immediately after, which could not cope with
a settings file that does not exist yet on a brand new install. Issue #127.
  • The Connections map drew no arcs for a router behind another router. The arcs start from
your own location, which was only ever worked out from the WAN address — and a router behind
another router has a private address that cannot be placed. The map coloured countries and
counted them and drew nothing between them, with no setting that helped. It now falls back to
the location set on the device, so picking a town gives you your arcs. Issue #120.

Internal

  • The rule that a missing configuration file means "not set up yet" rather than "broken" now lives
in one place, with a check covering every reader at once. This was the third release in a week
to fix one instance of it.
