Firewall & Ports: Ports auf diesem PC freigeben, vereinfachte Skalierung, Schriftgröße in der Geräteliste und ein neues Setup mit Datensicherung
🔌 Firewall-Tab erweitert zu „Firewall & Ports"
Der fünfte Tab deckt jetzt beide Richtungen ab und ist dafür in zwei Spalten geteilt.
Links wie bisher: ein Gerät im Netz erreichen, wenn es von diesem PC aus blockiert
wird. Rechts neu: einen Port auf diesem PC freigeben – für den Fall, dass ein Programm
hier einen bestimmten Port öffnen muss, auf den andere Rechner zugreifen, etwa eine
Warenwirtschaft, ein Kassensystem, eine Datenbank oder eine Fernwartung. Darunter liegt
eine gemeinsame Regelliste für beide Spalten.
Der Port lässt sich frei eintragen oder aus einer Vorlage wählen: SQL Server,
MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Remotedesktop, VNC, HTTP und HTTPS. Die Vorlage füllt Port,
Protokoll und Bezeichnung aus; ein Portbereich (z. B. 5000-5010) ist ebenfalls möglich.
Die Freigabe gilt eingehend und nur aus dem lokalen Netz.
🔍 Port-Prüfung vor der Freigabe
„Prüfen" zeigt in drei Zeilen, ob überhaupt ein Programm am Port lauscht (ohne das
bewirkt keine Regel etwas), ob bereits eine eingehende Regel besteht – auch eine fremde,
etwa vom Installationsprogramm der Fachanwendung – und ob das Firewall-Profil die
Freigabe zulässt. So ist vor dem Eintragen klar, woran eine Verbindung tatsächlich
hängt.
📐 Skalierung vereinfacht
Die im Programm gewählte Stufe gibt die Darstellungsgröße jetzt allein vor; die
Windows-Skalierung wirkt nicht mehr zusätzlich. Bisher ergaben beide zusammen die
tatsächliche Größe, sodass z. B. „90 %" eine Mischung aus Programm- und Windows-Wert war.
Eine gewählte Stufe bedeutet jetzt genau diese Stufe. Ist keine Stufe gewählt, richtet
sich das Programm nach der Windows-Skalierung.
🔤 Schriftgröße in der Geräteliste
Die Einstellung Klein / Normal / Groß gilt jetzt auch für die Scan-Ergebnisliste, und
die Zeilenhöhe folgt der tatsächlichen Schrifthöhe. Auf 4K-Bildschirmen und bei hohen
Skalierungsstufen ist die Liste damit zuverlässig lesbar, ohne dass Zeilen sich
überlappen.
🧩 Weitere Verbesserungen
• Die Ankreuzfelder im Konfig-Fenster wachsen mit der eingestellten Größe mit.
• Alle Fenster tragen das S-IT-Symbol in der Titelleiste.
🐛 Fehlerbehebungen
• Tab LAN-Performance: Die Kästen am oberen Rand ordnen sich jetzt der Fensterbreite an;
der erste Kasten ist vollständig, und die Pfadeingabe ist erreichbar.
• Dialog zum Bearbeiten der Ping-Ziele: Der Knopf „Speichern" ist sichtbar; der Dialog
passt sich seinem Inhalt an.
• Anzeigetexte in den Bereichen Firewall und Netzwerk durchgehend mit richtigen
Umlauten.
• Profilnamen aus Windows wie „Domäne" oder „öffentlich" werden richtig dargestellt.
• Firewall-Regeln, die nur für ein einzelnes Programm gelten, zählen beim Port-Befund
nur noch für das Programm, das tatsächlich am Port lauscht; andere werden als
wirkungslos ausgewiesen.
📦 Neues Setup und neuer Deinstaller
• Zur Wahl stehen die Installation auf der Festplatte (mit Verknüpfungen und Eintrag in
der Programmliste) und die portable Installation auf einen USB-Stick oder in einen
eigenen Ordner.
• Bei einem Update bleiben Einstellungen, eigene Gerätezuordnungen, Hersteller-Datenbank
und der Logs-Ordner erhalten.
• Der Deinstaller fragt vor dem Entfernen, ob diese Daten gesichert werden sollen. Die
Sicherung liegt im Ordner _Backups neben dem Programmordner.
• Bei einer späteren Neuinstallation bietet das Setup an, die Daten aus einer solchen
Sicherung zurückzuholen.

ℹ️ Hinweis für Bestandsnutzer
Das neue Setup übernimmt eine vorhandene Installation einschließlich aller eigenen
Daten. Durch die vereinfachte Skalierung kann die Darstellung nach dem Update kleiner
ausfallen als gewohnt. Die gewünschte Größe lässt sich unter ⚙ Konfig →
„Darstellungsgröße / Skalierung" einstellen.

🔌 Firewall tab extended to "Firewall & Ports"
The fifth tab now covers both directions and is split into two columns for this
purpose. On the left, as before: reach a device on the network when it is blocked from
this PC. On the right, new: open a port on this PC – for cases where a program on this
PC must open a specific port that other computers access, such as inventory management,
a point-of-sale system, a database or remote maintenance. Below both columns is a shared
rule list.
The port can be entered freely or chosen from a template: SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB,
PostgreSQL, Remote Desktop, VNC, HTTP and HTTPS. The template fills in port, protocol
and description; a port range (e.g. 5000-5010) is also possible. The rule applies to
inbound traffic and only from the local network.
🔍 Port check before opening
"Check" shows in three lines whether a program is listening on the port at all
(without one, no rule has any effect), whether an inbound rule already exists –
including one created by someone else, for example by the installer of the business
application – and whether the firewall profile permits the rule. This makes clear,
before anything is added, where a connection actually fails.
📐 Simplified scaling
The level selected in the program now alone determines the display size; Windows
scaling no longer applies on top of it. Previously both combined to give the actual
size, so that, for example, "90 %" was a mix of the program and Windows values. A
selected level now means exactly that level. If no level is selected, the program
follows the Windows scaling.
🔤 Font size in the device list
The Small / Normal / Large setting now also applies to the scan results list, and the
row height follows the actual font height. On 4K screens and at high scaling levels,
the list is reliably readable, without overlapping rows.
🧩 Further improvements
• The checkboxes in the configuration window now scale with the selected size.
• All windows show the S-IT icon in the title bar.
🐛 Bug fixes
• LAN Performance tab: the boxes at the top now adapt to the window width; the first
box is complete and the path input is reachable.
• Dialog for editing the ping targets: the "Save" button is visible; the dialog adapts
to its content.
• Display texts in the firewall and network sections now consistently use proper
German umlauts.
• Windows profile names such as "Domäne" or "öffentlich" are displayed correctly.
• Firewall rules that apply only to a single program now count in the port check only
for the program actually listening on the port; others are shown as ineffective.
📦 New setup and uninstaller
• You can choose between installing to the hard disk (with shortcuts and an entry in
the list of installed programs) and a portable installation to a USB stick or a
folder of your choice.
• When updating, settings, custom device assignments, the manufacturer database and the
Logs folder are retained.
• Before removal, the uninstaller asks whether this data should be backed up. The
backup is stored in the _Backups folder next to the program folder.
• On a later new installation, the setup offers to restore the data from such a backup.

The license and disclaimer are now included in German and English.
ℹ️ Note for existing users
The new setup takes over an existing installation including all your own data. Due to
the simplified scaling, the display may be smaller than you are used to after the
update. The desired size can be set under ⚙ Konfig → "Darstellungsgröße / Skalierung".
