CC Switch CLI v5.11.1
This patch release fixes shared-workspace Codex OAuth accounts, daemon shutdown, and macOS builds, and improves provider configuration preservation.
Added
- Presets: Add 88API presets and align the preset ordering with README sponsors, keeping former sponsors available at the end of the list. Includes #504.
- Documentation: Add a Japanese README. Includes #502.

- Configuration / Provider Switching: Replace provider-owned routing, authentication, and model fields while preserving other live settings. Claude and Gemini switching, proxy restoration, and temporary Claude launches use the shared key-field write mechanism; Codex includes the top-level
base_urlcompatibility fix. Interrupted writes use durable recovery. Includes #506.
Fixed
- Codex / Shared Workspace Accounts: Keep members of the same ChatGPT workspace in separate managed accounts instead of overwriting credentials. Targeted reauthentication preserves the local account ID and provider bindings, and proxy, model, and quota requests use the selected member's credentials and workspace. Includes #509, fixing #493.
- Proxy / Daemon Shutdown: Stop daemon-owned proxy workers even when runtime metadata is missing, allowing WebDAV restore to proceed. Includes #508, fixing #497.
- macOS / Build Compatibility: Restore daemon linking on Apple targets with libc 0.2.190. Includes #505, fixing #499.
Upgrade notes
- Existing managed Codex OAuth accounts require reauthentication after upgrading. Use Reauthenticate in the account menu or
cc-switch auth login --account-id <id>with the original user and workspace to preserve provider bindings. Accounts requiring reauthentication cannot supply credentials until confirmed. - Ordinary provider switching preserves live user settings and no longer replays saved common snippets or reprojects MCP configuration. Explicit common-config editing remains available.
- For Homebrew installations, use
brew upgrade cc-switch-clionce the formula is updated.
