What's Changed
- fix: startup task used a path that didn't work for some users
- fix: in Tray Mode: dwm_eotf_rs caused colors to look wrong when HDR is disabled

-n/--nitspossibly used disabled/currently SDR/wide gamut/unconnected displays for brightness calculation instead of just HDR ones - ci: use GitHub Actions to build the executable from now on
- feat: logs are better now
- refactor: reworked entire tray mode logic to be more maintainable
Full Changelog: v0.17.0...v0.19.0
Update Instructions - IMPORTANT!
Since the task path changed, you MUST delete existing tasks!!! Manually, or with a command:
.\dwm_eotf_rs.exe unschedule --all
Notes
- With this release, dwm_eotf_rs will maintain proper colors when you disable HDR globally. The app cannot and will likely never handle correctly cases when some of your active monitors are SDR and some are HDR.
- You can confirm that the binary was really built with a GitHub runner by comparing hash with the one in the workflow run.
- If you haven't read ReadMe after v0.17.0 came out, I insist you do so now.
- Log verbosity is controlled by the
RUST_LOGenv variable. Use the$env:RUST_LOG = "debug"PowerShell command when reporting issues.
Old Notes
- This app requires admin rights for process memory manipulation, utilizes PowerShell for startup registration and reads/writes to registry.
