The solution removes the black bars while preserving the vertical field of view and the interaction prompts' original locations.
- Download the archive below.
- Unpack it to \Solar\Binaries\Win64 or \Solar\Binaries\WinGDK (Microsoft Store) inside the game folder.
To uninstall the fix, simply remove or move the files.
Known issue: Menu backgrounds are stretched.
Tested personally on the latest Microsoft Store version mainly at 2560x1080 and 5120x1440. Additionally tested on Steam and Epic at 21:9 by TheMysticPleb and boogy.
