The solution removes the black bars from the cutscenes without reducing the vertical field of view.
- Download the ultrawide archive below.
- Unpack it to \U01\Binaries\Win64 inside the game folder.
To uninstall the fix, simply remove or move the files.
Note that the FMVs will remain stretched, while the menu & dialogue selection screens will keep their black bars.
Tested on the latest Steam version primarily at 2560x1080 and 3840x1080. Might work for 16:10.
