The mod removes the vertical black bars from the game, expanding the view. It also allows to remove the FPS limit of 60.
Instructions:
- Download the standalone archive below.
- Unpack the archive to the game folder.
- Download the patch for the standalone version.
- Unpack the archive to the game folder, overwriting at the prompt(s).
- The first launch will be longer than expected without signs of activity. Please give it time.
- To toggle the ultrawide or FPS fixes, launch the modded game once, quit, then set the values to true or false in the generated config in the BepInEx folder.
- To uninstall the mod, simply remove or move the files and folders.
Known issues:
- Flickering vertical lines when moving in some locations.
- Camera position may not perfectly match the original, especially near the level edges.
- Some backgrounds may not fill the screen. Report any that you come across and include the save files.
Tested on the latest Steam version primarily at 2560x1080. Wider and higher resolutions are technically supported but the issues will be exacerbated.
