The solution removes the black bars from the cutscenes in ultrawide and wider without reducing the field of view.

1. Download the archive below and unpack it anywhere.
2. Run "Launch Gears 4 and fix".

• Alternatively, run the game the usual way, followed by the "Launch" tool.

Note that the game has a number of pre-rendered cutscenes that will remain pillarboxed.

Tested on the latest Microsoft Store version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080, and 5760x1080.
