Orion Store 2.3.5 🚀
Choose which apps Orion looks after, see every app from one developer, and download faster. Failed installs now tell you exactly why in plain words, Debloat works again, categories show the right apps, and a new Performance mode keeps older phones smooth.
Updating from 2.2.5? Install 2.3.5 over your current Orion Store. Your profile, XP, badges and settings come along.
🗂️ My Apps
- Don't Manage an App: Open an installed app's ⋮ menu and pick Don't manage with Orion. It leaves My Apps and stops getting update alerts and auto-updates.
- Skip Apps From Other Stores: A new switch in Settings, Downloads keeps apps installed by Play Store or any other store out of My Apps and updates.
- Not Managed List: Hidden apps wait in a folded Not managed section at the bottom of My Apps, each with a Manage button to bring it back.
- Arrange Your Filters: Long-press a filter pill and drag it sideways to reorder. The order is saved.
⚡ Faster and Smoother
- Faster Downloads: Big files now download over several connections at once, which is much quicker on GitHub and other servers that limit speed per connection.
- Smoother Scrolling: Lighter drawing across the whole store, so lists and pages scroll more smoothly on every phone.
- Instant First Visits: Orion's code is prepared when it installs, and each tab's icons load ahead, so the first switch to PC, TV or Dev is as quick as every one after.
- Performance Mode: Auto, Lite, Balanced or Boost in Settings, Visuals. Lite stops decorative motion on older phones, Boost keeps more images ready and the screen at its fastest refresh rate. Auto picks Lite on low-memory phones.
🧑💻 Developer Page
- Every App From One Developer: Tap the developer's name on an app page to see all their apps in one place.
🛡️ Installs That Explain Themselves
- Know Before It Fails: Installing a mod over an app from Play Store or another mod now tells you up front that it can't work and why, with a button to uninstall the current one.
- Hidden Copies Found: If a copy is still hiding in Secure Folder, a Work profile, Dual apps or Second space, Orion says so and how to remove it.
- Clear Failure Messages: Silent, Shizuku, root and wireless ADB installs that fail now show a simple explanation on screen instead of a code.
✨ Orion AI
- Knows Your Apps: Orion AI sees which catalog apps are on your phone, skips them in suggestions and answers questions about your updates.
- Smarter Answers: Better at comparisons, follow-ups and install problems, finds apps by developer name too, and replies in your language.
🛡️ Guardian
- A Calmer Guardian: Perms, Surgeon and Debloat are one clean scrolling list each, with nothing pinned on top. Every app shows a small status dot; tap it for details and actions.
- App Details in Debloat: Tap any app to see what it does, how safe it is to remove, and remove or restore it from there.
- Better Safety Ratings: Ratings and descriptions now come from the maintained UAD-ng list, so services like Bluetooth MIDI are no longer marked as Recommended to remove.
- Every App Shows Up: Debloat, APK Surgeon and the permission checker now list all installed apps, including user apps and apps without risky permissions.
🛠️ Fixes
- Black Dock on OLED: With the OLED theme the bottom bar is pitch black, outlined so it stays easy to see.
- Edge to Edge Rows: Sideways scrolling rows now run to the screen edges instead of cutting off.
- Developer Tile: Its shape now sits in the corner like on every other settings tile.
- Leaderboard Avatars: Only the built-in avatars can appear on the leaderboard now.
- Debloat Works Again: Confirming an uninstall or permission revoke in Guardian now actually runs it.
- Accurate Categories: Music, Health and Reading no longer pull in budget trackers, network tools or anything else that only mentions "track".
- TV Settings Scroll: On Android TV, the remote now moves through Settings and other full-screen pages instead of the screen behind them.
- Ignored Updates Show Up: Ignoring an update for a week or until the next version now lists the app under Ignored updates, with the days left for weekly ignores.
- Dock Hides Fully: The bottom bar now slides all the way off small screens while scrolling.
- Tablet Download Button: On tablets and in landscape the app page buttons stay a comfortable width.
