- Report incorrect SELinux rule in the app
- Install the app when installing the module (If the file
/data/adb/modules/riru-core/dont_install_appexists, the app will not be installed)
There a lot "Riru not work" reports show that some third-party ROMs have incorrect SELinux rule (allow init system_file:dir relabelfrom). This rule does not exist in AOSP.
For Riru, this will make zygote not able to access necessary files from Magisk module folders since the folders are relabeled to adb_data_file and zygote is not allowed to access adb_data_file.
If your ROM has such problems, our recommendation is to ask your ROM maintainer not to do this. Or you can switch to other ROMs without this problem.
