Nothing incredibly major in this update, but it has quite a few new things.
Additions
- Extra lives now work properly, but lack graphics.
- New difficulties! Third person and shotguns.
- A plethora of new missions added to the vanilla campaign. Not complete, but more than halfway done!
- Teleporters! (Scroll with middle mouse to change the Teleport ID)
Changes
- Some tank AI parameters were changed.
- Leaderboard backend exists but does not function.
- Made the player tank not a god of movement, allowing it to move not where it was pointed.
- Debug Layer
UIElementswas changed toPlayer Data, and now shows what types of tanks have been killed this campaign, and how many are killed this campaign. - The feature that was not well recieved for AI tank suicides and friendly fires not counting towards total kill count has been removed for single player and now has all kills count, regardless of source.
- Tanks are now a bit more sentient of their neighbors, hopefully making them not lay mines next to them.
- Optimised some AI patterns.
Fixes
- Fixed crash when campaigns were loaded on the 'Single Player' screen.
- Instead of releasing the Debug build of the game, I now am releasing it in Release mode, which should boost performance significantly, most notably raising the max possible FPS (on a GTX 1660) from ~400 to ~750-800. This should also help lower-end computers as well.
TODO
- Fix resolution scaling. Still, 1920x1080 is the recommended resolution.
