• Collapsible Headers in Document Outline
  Each header section in the Document Outline is now collapsible to make it easier to view large documents with many sections. You can also collapse all, and expand all. (#1295)

• Document Outline Context Menu now shows active ID
  The document outline now shows the id when using the context menu, so you can at a glance see the generated Id value. This is in addition to the link insertion and copy options on the menu. The ToolTip hovering over the document header item also shows the id and header level.

• Diff Editor Improvements
  v4.5 introduced the Diff editor. In this release we've added more natural context menu behavior for accepting or reverting changes for each change block, or the entire document. Right click on any change block in a Diff document to see the options.

• Improve Recovery Document Behavior
  If MM shut down unexpectedly due to system failure or a hard reboot etc. and you have Auto-Backup enabled, MM has your last batch of unsaved changes. When you restart it shows you those changes in a Diff editor that shows the differences. As of 4.5 the Diff shows in the main editor as an inline Diff, but the update now adds a Recovery Mode Banner for quickly Accepting or Reverting all changes in addition to the full context menu options for accepting or reverting specific or all changes.

• Add Prompt Generation Options to Image Generator
  The AI Image generator now has options to create a prompt from the current document. The default asks to create an abstract image from a) the full document or b) a short summary of the document. The summary is LLM generated if a text Completions model has been configured.

• Add External Image Support to AI Image Generation
  You can now provide input images in your AI Image Generation prompts in the OpenAI Image generator to allow for using images for reference and style guidelines or for things like combining or cleaning up of images. You can drag and drop from Explorer or Web Browser, or paste images (ctrl-v) from the Clipboard into the prompt box to use those images as input for image prompting. Images are preserved in the prompt history.

• Additional Table Editor Column Management Shortcuts
  Added additional shortcuts for Insert Column Left (alt-shift-left), Insert Column Right (alt-shift-right) and Delete Column (alt-shift-delete). (#1278)

• Consistent Table Editor Context Menu
  Fixed the table editor context menu so it shows properly when there's no text selection in the table. Previously focus had to be on the edit control and a browser context menu was shown when focus was on the cell itself or the bottom of the content area. Cell selections now correctly trigger, and the empty content shows no context menu.

• Fix: PDF Missing or Incomplete Images/Resources
  Addressed issue that caused PDF Generation to occasionally fail to render images or other dependent online resources, or async loaded content like Mermaid diagrams resulting in partially rendered content or other incomplete results. A new PDF Generation Delay option has been added to the PDF output window that delays generation of the PDF after the document has been rendered to Html in the WebView DOM that is used for printing to PDF. Defaults to a minimum of 120ms which seems enough for most scenarios, but you can bump the value for very large documents, slow connections or other special cases where async content may be slow to load. • Fix: Speak Document Not Working
  Fixed issue where Speak document was not working. (#1289)

• Fix: Drag and Drop File as Links from Favorites
  Fix drag and drop from the Favorites Sidebar to behave in the same fashion as drag and drop from the File and Folder Browser to embed a link to the file into the document. (

• Fix: AI Summarize Dialog Clipboard Output
  Fix issue with the AI Summary window not properly assigning the ResultText when the prompt result arrives. Previously the result displayed in the editorl, but you couldn't copy or embed the content.

• Fix: Link Checker doesn't resolve Document Relative Links
  Fix issue where the link checker failed to resolve valid document relative links as success, when there's a document root path marker file (ie. .markdownmonster or similar) is present. (#1296)
