Keeps the plugin from hammering Remote Falcon when it is slow or unreachable,
so the platform recovers faster during busy show nights.
Changed
- The plugin waits longer between retries when Remote Falcon is down.
Before, a failed call was retried on the very next check, about once a
second. Now each failure in a row makes the plugin wait longer before
trying again, up to 30 seconds, and it goes back to normal as soon as
Remote Falcon answers. If Remote Falcon asks the plugin to retry later, it
waits at least that long. Your show keeps playing its schedule the whole
time, and the heartbeat keeps your plugin marked as connected. - Interrupt mode checks for requests every 2 seconds instead of every
second. Requests still play well within the usual 3-second window.
Fixed
- Recovering from a dropped network connection no longer slows the plugin
down. If your network dropped mid-show, every call to Remote Falcon
waited the full 10 seconds before giving up, which slowed the plugin's
whole loop. It now reconnects instead, so only the first call waits. - No more "Failed to update what's playing" errors in the log while the
plugin is waiting to retry. Nothing is sent during the wait, so nothing
is logged as an error.
