Hardening release on top of v1.8.1. The cycle focuses on three things: recorder relief for installs with high-frequency sensors (1 Hz Victron Cerbo, JK BMS, Ecowitt feeds and similar) so loading Helios no longer blocks every other card on the dashboard for 30 to 100 seconds on each mount, camera pose + lock persistence to localStorage so the framing survives page reloads, and a chip family harmonisation pass (cloud chip joins the canonical recipe, leader-bead radii unified, sun arc gets its own fullscreen ramp). The dashboard panel's today's battery totals are back to a full-day window after beta.4 over-trimmed them, and the back-to-live affordance is now a real tab anchored to the chart card.
The full beta-by-beta narrative is preserved in the CHANGELOG. Upcoming work is tracked live on the public roadmap at helios-lidar.org/roadmap, pulled directly from the GitHub Project and refreshed every five minutes.
Special thanks to LBDG_ and JJAsond for the relentless field testing on 1 Hz installs throughout the entire beta cycle. They turned the recorder pressure investigation from "intermittent, slow, weird" into a precise diagnosis (the grid module's 72 h raw window being the last hot path, the raw-window cap anchor mis-sourced from the forecast horizon, the LTS arm being over-capped in beta.4) and validated each beta in production before it shipped. v1.8.2 would not be where it is without their patience.
