v1.8.0: HA harmonisation, multi-tariff grid, performance fixes
Accelerated release to address performance regressions reported after
v1.7.0. Some roadmap items (notably new LiDAR providers) are deferred.
Apologies for the delay on those, they remain priority for the next
cycle.
Highlights:
- Home Assistant theme + design tokens harmonisation (card-theme YAML
key retired, the card now follows hass.themes.darkMode and the HA
card frame tokens directly). - Multi-tariff grid import / export with editor support, last-changed
ranking and HA recorder backfill at boot so the chip reads the
right slope even when the live integration is silent. - WebGL "too many active contexts" fix in dashboard edit mode plus a
memo on LidarViewLayer.setData() that cuts ~100-300 ms off re-toggle. - Dependencies brought to their latest stable versions (Vite 8, TS 6,
pbf 5, vector-tile 3, terser 5.48). Bundle drops -26%, gzipped -13%. - Sun ray bead, home drop-leader to the 3D building, permanent home
glow, larger hitbox, theme-aware prediction colour, day-strip mobile
fit, timeline slide-in. - LiDAR mesh shows a wireframe + points skeleton in white while the
exposure compute runs, spinner on the mode-bar button. - PV string markers + HA Energy auto-detect fallback removed (dead
code cleanup, ~5 KB bundle savings). - 9 new grid i18n keys translated in every supported locale.
