Second beta of 2026.9.0. Opt-in via HACS (pre-release); 2026.8.3 stays the stable Latest.
Since 2026.9.0-b1:
Fixed: garbled basemap on some entry-level tablets (#370)
On the lighter drawing path used by weak Mali/Adreno GPUs, the map behind the scene could fill with coloured noise. Those devices now draw the basemap on the CPU instead, which sidesteps the graphics-driver bug and keeps the full map. If you have a wall tablet that flickered or showed a corrupted map, please try this build and report back.
Changed: the battery connects to the home, not the solar (#355)
The battery used to show a line from the solar chip while charging, implying the charge came from your panels, which isn't true for an AC-coupled or grid-charged battery. The battery is now a single connection to the home: the flow runs from the battery to the home while discharging and from the home to the battery while charging, without claiming a source. The value shown is still your real measured battery power.
Everything from the earlier 2026.9.0 betas is included. Feedback welcome.
