github ReikanYsora/Helios 2026.9.0-b1

pre-release6 hours ago

First beta of 2026.9.0 (the "Your real sky" release), now feature-complete. Opt-in via HACS (pre-release); 2026.8.3 stays the stable Latest.

Since 2026.9.0-b0, two fixes:

🩹 Fixed: the production curve could read above your real power (#371)

On installations whose production meter reports its energy less often than the graph's detail, the past-production curve could briefly climb above what the panels can produce (a 2.5 kW array plotting more than 2.5 kW). Helios now spreads each reading across the interval it actually covers, so the curve never resolves finer than your meter reports — and the totals still match the Energy dashboard exactly.

🖥️ Fixed: flicker and black screen on some entry-level tablets (#370)

On a few low-end wall tablets the whole view could shimmer or recompose between frames, and a kiosk screenshot came back black — the same family as the old half-3D iPad issue. Helios now recognises those graphics chips (entry ARM Mali / Qualcomm Adreno / PowerVR / Raspberry Pi) and switches them to a lighter drawing path automatically, keeping the 2.5D look. No setting to touch.

Everything else from the 2026.9.0 alphas (terrain horizon, weather layers, temperature/humidity, battery SoC chip readout…) is included. Feedback welcome.
