First alpha of 2026.8.0, for testing on real data. Expect rough edges, not for production.
What to test
- Sun arc: sunrise and sunset now use the standard -0.833° apparent-altitude convention (atmospheric refraction + solar semi-diameter), matching Home Assistant's sun, NOAA and suncalc (#299).
- Editor: a "Check your configuration" panel is pinned at the very top, always visible. It lists every energy family (solar, grid, battery) and what to add for each live chip, including the families you have not set up yet.
- Under the hood: large 2026.8.0 architecture refactor (typed data layer with last-good caching, reactive controllers, feature-tree layout). No visible change intended, but the whole data path moved, so watch for regressions.
