Hello there you fine folk, i do enjoy doing those release notes sometimes, i could just type the world is ending, theoretically, that'd be funny wouldn't it?

Anyways, here's the changes in action, note that this will be the final release of 2025 (and there's a lot of changes) cheers :)

  1. A discord server! Totally optional, but you can join if you wish (also through this button) :) - mainly for feature updates and what not, but you'll get a direct line of contact with myself, if you'd like to do that (for whatever reason).

  1. Migration to Python 3.14 free threaded - for those of you who are familiar with Python, you will likely be familiar with the concept of the GIL, well, with this update, this is removed and we will be using the free-threaded one exclusively from now on. What does this mean? We can implement proper multi-threading support (spoiler for the other changes), i've already done that. :)
  2. The addition of sub folders! A decent number of you have requested this, so i've went ahead and added it, just click the "Add Subfolder" for whatever launcher you want, and it'll integrate this.

5. The integration of a high-performance mode, following on from change 1, with this we get to a lot of cool things, one of those is now high performance updates! Depending on your processor, this can increase the speed of updates anywhere from 6-20x for extremely heavy libraries. This is disabled by default, so you'll need to switch it on yourself.

  1. Multi threading support for backups, scanning directories, and so forth.
  2. Bug fix for the "Clear All Backups" and "Delete Database" buttons to be disabled if no database exists.
  3. Internal infrastructure changes to enforce the use of uv for faster CI/CD.
  4. The addition of CodSpeed for public benchmarking.
  5. Probably other things? As i said there's a lot of changes, oh well!
