🌘 InstaEclipse v0.8.2

⚠️ Two builds now. InstaEclipse is for the new Xposed API (Vector 2.2+ with root, LSPatch 1.0+ without root). InstaEclipse Legacy (0.8.2-L) is for the classic API (LSPosed and other frameworks that don't support the new one yet). Both have the same features. If v0.8.1 didn't load on your phone (several Redmi / Xiaomi users), try Legacy. Install over your existing version, no reinstall required.

Profile tools, a profile spoofer and analyzer, confirmations before liking and following, one tap data backup and a batch of your requests. Tested on Instagram 451.0.0.20.80.

👤 Profiles

• feat(profile): Profile ⋮ menu - Copy username, Copy bio and Download all posts
• feat(download): Download a whole profile - all posts, or just the newest 12, 30, 50, 100 or any number, newest first
• feat(profile): Profile analyzer - add a profile to your watchlist, and each analysis shows who it newly followed or unfollowed, and who followed or stopped following it, with a change log per profile
• feat(profile): Profile spoofer (only on your phone, nothing is sent) - your username, name, bio, picture, posts / followers / following counts and a verified badge, with a live preview editor. The bottom tab picture follows while you're on your profile, and Edit profile keeps your real details

📝 Posts

• feat(posts): Edit counts on your own posts (only on your phone) - likes, comments, reposts and shares from the post's ⋮ menu, applied at once

❤️ Likes and Follows

• feat(likes): Ask before liking - the heart waits for your OK, and stays empty if you cancel
• feat(follow): Ask before following - feed, suggestions, collaborator sheets and the profile Follow button; Cancel puts the button back

💬 Messages

• feat(dm): Hide suggested accounts in Messages (#282)
• feat(dm): Hide Instants, in Distraction Free

📖 Stories

• feat(stories): A real color picker for the story ring - Instagram's colors, one color or a gradient of 2 to 4 colors, with presets, sliders and hex

• feat(download): Quieter, quicker download dialog - no progress popup, one tap when there's one choice, current slide / all / choose for carousels (#287, #288, #289)
• feat(download): Redesigned Save video frame, with true colors and one-frame steps
• feat(download): When the InstaEclipse app can't be reached (sleeping app, autostart off), downloads still save instead of failing: to your folder when it's inside Download, otherwise to Download

💾 Backup

• feat(backup): Back up data - deleted messages, analyzed profiles, followers history, hidden chats and chat names, and edited post counts in one file, restored in one tap after reinstalling Instagram

📱 Companion App

• feat(sync): Switches flipped in the app apply in Instagram right away, and both menus stay in step
• feat(setup): The app asks to run unrestricted when a download folder is set, asks to choose the folder again if its access was lost, and asks for storage on Android 9
• refactor(toast): Every toast uses the InstaEclipse style

🐛 Bug Fixes

• fix(likes): Ask before liking sends the like after you press Like on LSPatch, and the heart no longer fills before you answer on Instagram 451
• fix(download): No "couldn't reach the app" warning when the file was saved to your folder anyway
• fix(dm): Unsent messages and Hide this chat are back in the chat menu, titled with the chat's name; Back from the unsent list returns to the chat menu
• fix(comments): Reels comments open to full height for Load all, so every comment loads
• fix(instants): The Gallery button works when the camera opens from the Instants stack
• fix(compat): Safe class walking on Android 12 and older (fixed crashes on some Redmi phones)
• fix(core): JIT guard in every hook callback
• fix(profile): The profile menu rows scroll with Instagram's list and only show on a profile that is on screen
• fix(profile): The spoofed verified badge only shows on your own profile

⚡ Performance

• perf(startup): DexKit lookups are cached per Instagram version, so startup takes about 1.5 s instead of 9.5 s (#285)
• chore(log): Quieter logs - lookups that are expected to miss on this Instagram version no longer show as errors

🌍 Translations

• Every new string translated into all 19 languages
